Agape Power Martial Arts™ builds deep rooted confidence through reality based, safe, yet highly energetic, training in an exciting fellowship environment. Our Stego Kids™ and Teen/Adult programs combine the best in health and personal safety with timeless wisdom for living with confidence, honesty, and purpose.

Our black belt programs are loaded with power packed prevention, disruption, end escape techniques for handling the most likely modern self-defense scenarios. Plus, we teach rescue techniques and non-injuring Police command and control methods that empower you to assist others in times of need. We direct this great power for the well being of others through Christian values such as patience, kindness, perseverance, goodness, and self control.

Being a Christian is not required to join Agape Power martial arts. Students from a variety of backgrounds connect here because of our focus on empowering you to live well. We seek to honor Christ by building wise, kind and confident martial artists who are prepared to succeed in personal goals and make positive differences in their communities.

From a personal safety perspective, our students learn very reliable answers for the most common assaults faced by children today. We care enough about our kids to arm them with practical tools plus the knowledge to use them appropriately. They leave our classes aware and prepared!

To help build successful community oriented individuals, Agape Power Martial Arts also organizes enriching fellowship activities throughout the year that each student has the opportunity to attend!

Teen or Adult looking for dynamic and practical training, great fellowship, or even coaching opportunities?

Our Teen/Adult programs teach physical and mental self awareness through command and stability, strategic decision making, explosive response (trouble prevention), and skillful evasion methods. Classes are dynamic, full of energy, and great for stress relief!

Students who train with us become very well rounded, able to handle the most common (and feared) real life assaults with practical answers that work!

Our Teens and Adults also have exciting opportunities to serve as Encouragement Coaches. Our Coaches are specially trained to bring out the best in others through affirming knowledge sharing. Coaching is a great chance to be a positive role model, have fun, and deepen personal understanding. Plus, Encouragement Coaches save $$ on training!

Our Martial Arts Instructors

Robin Eugene Redick		Robin Eugene Redick is an acknowledged expert instructor of martial arts and personal safety, community leader, and martial arts Hall of Fame inductee with over 19 years of experience. In addition to black belt ranks in several Japanese martial arts, he is a certified Police Arrests Command and Control instructor, professional safety instructor, and Georgia certified educator of health and physical education. Outside of APMA class time, Robin and his wife Claire host safety worships for youth, young women, mothers, and children and help to organize community outreach events. Robin's upright reputation and enthusiasm for service have earned him opportunities to teach, demonstrate, and speak for public safety events, youth groups, women's organizations, churches, national martial arts seminars, and ministry in action gatherings. Robin and Claire’s mission with APMA is to provide quality, exciting, and useful martial arts training that fosters fortitude and honors Jesus Christ. Agape Power Martial Arts™ is a place where students from all backgrounds can feel welcome and learn safely plus where families can participate and form lasting friendships. Martial arts specializations: Ninja Taijutsu, Aikido (traditional and police methods), Koppo Karate, Jujutsu bodyguard methods, Kenjutsu (sword), Bojutsu, Jojutsu, and Hanbojutsu (long, medium, short staffs), Hidden weapons, Ukemi/Tumbling, and Cardio TaeKwondo. Police instructor certification (awarded by Kyoshi Max Andrews, former police officer, White House security agent, and first recipient of Police Certification from the Christian Black Belt Association). Professional certifications in Leadership, Education, Project Management, Digital Design, and Illustration. Extensive background in music. Robin draws on a well-rounded knowledge base to instill in students a love for life and the skills to accomplish goals. Service and home life: Robin serves as a deacon, volunteer Sunday School teacher, and children's church assistant at Roswell Street Baptist Church, where his wife of 11 years also serves as a childcare associate. They have two children. Personal Motivation: Knowing firsthand how faith, dedication, and hard work can overcome adversity, Robin uses martial arts training to help others succeed in their personal goals. As a child, Robin battled atopy, asthma and Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). When Robin was 4 years old, his father abandoned marriage, leaving his mom to parent alone in a poverty stricken and dangerous environment. Robins self esteem and early scholastic performance were predictably low. Against these odds, Robin became a disciplined student and health enthusiast, earning an MBA plus numerous professional certifications while connecting to athletics like running, martial arts and weight training to effectively control his asthma. Robin went on to shape successful business careers with such fortune 500 companies as IBM and Hewlett Packard while also building a personal outreach ministry. Robin attributes his accomplishments to caring individuals who would never let him accept indolence as a way of life. Robin thanks his great grandfather for solid Biblical mentoring and a spirit of outreach, his mother for instilling a strong work ethic, his step father for helping him combat ADHD through discipline, and most importantly, his Lord Jesus Christ who saved by grace and shaped a sense of personal purpose. Robin developed APMA to serve others in the same way. "Each time I teach a class or work with a student, I ask this question. Am I investing in others now as was done for me?" (Matthew 25: 14-30) Bible quote: “(Agape) love bears all things” (1 Corinthians 13:7). The original Greek word for love was "Stego - to cover with a roof, protect, shield, or endure for". Hamilton Brandenburg		Hamilton is an assistant instructor for our Stego Kids™ program. He enjoys trying just about any sport, hiking, going fast, reading, watching the rain, and going to the beach. He especially loves doing things that challenge him. Ham approaches class with a huge amount of positive energy that keeps us all going strong. Hamilton routinely participates in outreach activities for his local church and plans to join the arms forces next year. He will serve our country well as a great ambassador for Christ. Bible quote: “I can do all things though Christ which strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
Sean Kelly		Sean is our program’s chief encourager and liaison to our host, Roswell Street Baptist Church, where he is employed as director of technology. He has studied for 3 years and served in the United States Navy for 5 years. Sean has been married for 12 years and has 2 awsome children, who is a blessing to everyone around her.

Encouragement Coaches are specially trained to bring out the best in others through affirming knowledge sharing. Find us

Find the Church: Take Roswell Street from Highway 41 (Cobb parkway) or from Marietta Square. Go 1/2 mile to Aviation (see Roswell Street Baptist Church - very large ). Turn onto Aviation (right from the square; left from 41). Turn right into the church’s side parking lot.

Find the Gym: Drive behind the main building to find the gym. Park in the covered parking deck. The gym is directly across from you. Enter the gym through the glass double-doors that face the parking deck. Get ready for a great time!
